¹⁶ These are the sons of Ishmael and these are their names, by their villages, and by their camps; ^(A)twelve princes according to their ^[a]tribes. ¹⁷ These are the years of the life of Ishmael, ^(B)one hundred and thirty-seven years; and he breathed his last and died, and was ^(C)gathered to his people. ¹⁸ They ^[b]settled from ^(D)Havilah to ^(E)Shur which is ^[c]east of Egypt ^[d]as one goes toward Assyria; ^(F)he ^[e]settled in defiance of all his ^[f]relatives.
